We've just received official word that J.K. Rowling's The Tales of Beedle the Bard will be published on December 4. Net proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Children's High Level Group.  For the official press release, click here.

As it is now July 31 in the United Kingdom, we would like to wish author J.K. Rowling and fictional boy wizard Harry Potter a very happy birthday!  Or maybe we'll just let Daniel Radcliffe do it for us…

MTV caught up with Rupert Grint on the set of his new film Cherry Bomb to discuss the new Harry Potter trailer.  In the article, Grint calms fans who felt the teaser was too short by saying, "It's only a teaser, just to get people excited."  He also expresses joy that the scene in which he is poisoned made it into the trailer because it "was a really fun scene."

The long-awaited teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will debut via satellite feed tomorrow at 9 pm EST.  The trailer is expected to be released online at AOL.com tomorrow as well.  Stay tuned for a link to the trailer!

According to a new article in USA Today, film editing on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is complete.  Studio officials will see the finished product soon. The article also includes two brand-new stills from the movie which will appear in tomorrow's trailer: Hero Fiennes-Tiffin as Young Tom Riddle and Michael Gambson as Dumbledore fending off Inferi.

Happy birthday to Dan Radcliffe, who turns nineteen today.
