When asked how the new release date for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film would affect the videogame, an Electronic Arts spokesperson told HPFZ: "We are making a great game that Harry Potter fans will really enjoy — we are evaluating the impact of the movie date change."  The game was (and still is) slated to be released November 13 in the U.S. and November 14 worldwide.

A book which contained J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter prequel, among other short stories, has become the fastest-selling short story collection after nearly all 10,000 print copies of the book were sold on the first day of sales.  Profits from the sale will go directly to Dyslexia Action and English PEN.
