The Harry Potter rumour-mill is forever spinning, and there is already a huge amount of detail we know about upcoming LEGO sets, Funko Pop! Vinyl figures, books, TV series merchandise and more. Read on to learn about some of the upcoming ‘Potter’ products and releases in 2027 and beyond.
LEGO sets
In late 2026, LEGO teased sets for the new HBO Harry Potter TV series. Although we don’t have any information about those sets yet, we do know about a number of movie-inspired LEGO sets and adult Collectors’ Edition sets coming soon.
76492 – Chamber of Secrets Collectors’ Edition
LEGO has already released a number of Harry Potter Collectors’ Edition sets. Earlier this year they released a Collectors’ Edition display set themed around the Philosopher’s Stone film. The Chamber of Secrets set will likely be similar with a build composed of iconic props from the film. It will reportedly consist of 1,442 pieces and include the Basilisk, Riddle’s diary, Polyjuice Potion, Chamber door and Gryffindor sword emerging from the Sorting Hat, plus Harry, Ron, Hermione and Fawkes.
Astronomy Tower
The Hogwarts Astronomy Tower is reportedly the next component of the Hogwarts modular build, a line of sets which already includes the East Wing, Hospital Wing, Main Tower and Great Hall. The Astronomy Tower is seen at the end of Half-Blood Prince, so we’ll potentially see minifigures themed around that film. No word yet on a piece count.
Azkaban Fortress
A playset based on Azkaban Fortress is rumoured for the middle of 2027. The wizard prison is seen briefly in the Order of the Phoenix film.
More LEGO releases
The next wave of LEGO Harry Potter releases is also rumoured to include:
- 30751 – Neville’s Herbology Lesson (small promotional set)
- 76479 – Harry Meets Dobby (reportedly 102 pieces)
- 76483 – First Year at Hogwarts Castle (reportedly 773 pieces)

Funko Pop! Vinyls
The Harry Potter Funko line is seemingly never-ending, and we’re well past 200 figures with the announcement of the Voldemort-inspired wave in late 2026.
The next major Harry Potter Funko release will be a ‘Mystery’ collection — a wave of figures sold in sealed boxes, with the individual character inside revealed only when you open it. That collection will include:
- Harry Potter
- Ron Weasley
- Hermione Granger
- Luna Lovegood
- Fred Weasley
- George Weasley
- An unidentified Slytherin ‘chase’ figure, with a 1-in-72 chance of finding one
- A unique ‘Worldwide Chase’ figure — the only one of its kind, which the finder can choose to sell back to Funko for US$10,000

Noble Collection and Hasbro collectibles
Both The Noble Collection and Hasbro will produce a range of merchandise themed around the HBO Harry Potter TV series, including wand replicas, props, plush, chess sets, jewellery and stationery.
Books
‘Deathly Hallows’ illustrated edition
The penultimate Harry Potter illustrated edition, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was released in October 2026. In an interview, illustrator Levi Pinfold noted that the book took around 18 months to illustrate. In September, he was illustrating Bill and Fleur’s wedding scene, though we assume the book isn’t necessarily illustrated in order.
That being the case, it’s not impossible we’ll see the Deathly Hallows illustrated release in late 2027. Nothing confirmed yet, but we’ll update this page when more information is available.
‘Order of the Phoenix’ interactive illustrated edition
Karl James Mountford illustrated the interactive edition of Goblet of Fire, taking over from MinaLima. That edition was released in 2025, and Mountford has said ‘I … think it opens the door for me to create more emotionally gritty illustrations going forward’. While nothing has been confirmed, an October 2027 release would mirror the two-year release cadence between the later editions. Mountford has not confirmed his involvement in a fifth volume.
