Movie merchandise giants The Noble Collection have today revealed their first licensed merchandise from the upcoming HBO Harry Potter TV series, which includes plush toys, replica wands and a first look at John Lithgow’s Albus Dumbledore on a collectible Chocolate Frog Card.
The Chocolate Frog replica includes an ornate box and frog, alongside a replica of Albus Dumbledore’s famous wizard card (though this version doesn’t move, alas). The intricate mosaic style is quite a contrast to the MinaLima-designed Chocolate Frogs we saw in the Harry Potter film series.
Noble Collection have also unveiled two plush toys: Hedwig the owl and a Chocolate Frog, and four replica wands: Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. We got our first look at those new wands via an HBO promotional post a couple of months back.
All the new merchandise is available for pre-order now via their website, and will ship on 30 November in the US. Hasbro and LEGO will both produce merchandise alongside the new TV series, but those products are yet to be revealed.
The first season of the HBO Harry Potter series, an eight-episode adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, begins airing on December 25.
