'Order of the Phoenix' nominated for multiple VES awards - Harry Potter Fan Zone

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is nominated in multiple categories at the sixth annual Visual Effects Society awards.

The film is nominated for an award in the categories of "Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Motion Picture" (for the Hall of Prophecy sequence), "Outstanding Models or Miniatures in a Motion Picture" (for the Hogwarts school model), "Outstanding Compositing in a Motion Picture" (for the Hall of Prophecy sequence and other digital shots), and for "Outstanding Special Effects in a Motion Picture".

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony, which will take place on February 10 in Hollywood.

I think that special effects was probably the only thing OoTP could win something for… But congrats to them anyway :)
