U.S. students read classics more than 'Harry Potter' - Harry Potter Fan Zone

Extensive new research by Renaissance Learning charts the top 20 books read by U.S. students in grades in 1-12, overall and by gender and geographic location. Although the Harry Potter books are often found in the top 20, none of them ever comes in first as the book most often read by any grade.
