Mark Williams on Arthur Weasley, 'Potter' series and more
By Andy on 25 June 2009 at 04:01 GMT
Mark Williams was interested in narrating the Harry Potter audiobooks before being cast as Arthur Weasley, according to a new interview in the LA Times. Williams also speaks about the fandom, being a father figure in the series, and the now grown up trio.
For Harry Potter, did you read any of the novels before you were cast?
Yeah! I read them before I was cast and was, kind of embarrassingly, a fan, a bit. I found my agent and said 'Is anybody gonna read these as talking books because I'd like to put my name up for it.' I knew who Arthur Weasley was, and I know who I am and I knew I could do it.
