'The director shouts cut for the very last time' 
Principal photography for the two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films wrapped today (June 12), marking "the end of an Era" in the words of Warwick Davis. He tweeted:
The end of an Era – today is officially the last day of principal photography on 'Harry Potter' – ever. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it's been magic! x …and goodbye Griphook!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will hit theaters on November 19 of this year, with the second part bowing on July 15 of next year.

Actress Kate Fleetwood will play the role of Mary Cattermole in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Cattermole, the wife of Ministry worker Reg Cattermole, is interrogated by Umbridge during the trio's Ministry mission.

Jason Isaacs on Lucius Malfoy in 'Deathly Hallows' 
Jason Isaacs has revealed that he had a hand in constructing Lucius Malfoy's send off in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
"In fact, [Lucius' ending] wasn't planned. It was a decision made about how Lucius should end his bit in the story and we'd been leading up to it for a while and David – the lovely director – came to me and goes "What are we going to do with you that's really great? How are we going to do the ending?" And one day I came up with this thing and he went "gasp Oh that's it! Oh that's it. It'll be great."

Rhys Ifans on 'Deathly Hallows' role 
Rhys Ifans, the actor set to portray Xenophilius Lovegood in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films, recently spoke about his role. Ifans humouresly compared the oppurtuninty to appear in the Harry Potter films as, "[like] getting knighted".
"That was great," he said, beaming. "When you're an English actor and you get the 'Harry Potter' call– it's like Batman, you know? You have a phone, you have a normal phone, and then you have one that is made out of wood. That's the 'Potter' people. They call you up [and] you get your wand out, you put your cloak on and off you go. It's a real honor. It's like getting knighted or something."

New LEGO merchandise for 'Deathly Hallows' films 
The LEGO Group today announced their decision to create a number of new LEGO sets, as well as a board game, for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films. Karen McTier, executive vice president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products says, "fans of the franchise will be excited to discover the wonderfully original LEGO products inspired by the beloved stories and characters".
"The world of Harry Potter has inspired some of our most successful products and we are thrilled to continue creating imaginative play opportunities for fans everywhere,"said Jill Wilfert, vice president, global licensing for LEGO Group. "The magical stories brought to life in the films give us the potential for an incredible array of offerings, the best of which are represented in our upcoming lines."
The new LEGO sets will include the Hogwarts Castle, Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express and Quidditch Match, as well as Bellatrix Lestrange and Luna Lovegood figures. The sets will be available in October, and a LEGO board game titled "Hogwarts" will be available in August.
Deathly Hallows: Part I will be released in November.
'Deathly Hallows' to be released in 3D 
Warner Bros. today announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will be released in 3D. Jeff Robinov of Warner Bros. said, "We’re excited about 3D and look forward to bringing a rich, involving visual experience to audiences around the world."
Deathly Hallows will be released in November.
Alexandre Desplat to score 'Deathly Hallows: Part I' 
Composer Alexandre Desplat will score Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. While reports surfaced last year that composer John Williams would score the final two films, Desplat's involvement in the franchise is now confirmed. It is unknown whether Williams, Desplat or another composer will score Deathly Hallows: Part II.
Recently, Desplat wrote the scores for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will be released in November.
