McFarlane Toys to produce official range of ‘Harry Potter’ action figures

Figurine company McFarlane Toys will produce a range of intricate and highly-detailed Harry Potter action figures after securing an official licence for the ‘Potter’ brand.

Each figure stands at seven inches tall and will be released in July.

The first wave of figures will be available in July and include Harry, Ron, Hermione and Lord Voldemort in their Deathly Hallows: Part 2 costumes. The trio are accompanied by their Patronus figures, while Voldemort is accompanied by a replica Nagini. A Buckbeak figure completes the wave.

Funko to release new wave of Yule Ball-themed ‘Harry Potter’ Pop! Vinyls

Funko will soon release a new wave of Harry Potter Pop! Vinyl figures, including a number of characters in their Goblet of Fire Yule Ball costumes. The new figures, plus a range of keychains and pentoppers, will be available later this year. Pre-order links can be found below:

LEGO to release two new ‘Goblet of Fire’ sets in August

It’s been a big couple of weeks for LEGO collectors, with the brick giant today announcing two more Harry Potter sets themed around Goblet of Fire scenes. Both Beauxbatons’ Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts (430 pieces) and The Rise of Voldemort (184 pieces) will be released on 1 August and will retail for $49.99 and $19.99 respectively.

The new Beauxbatons build complements the arrival of the Durmstrang ship — a set LEGO released way back in 2005. The Rise of Voldemort looks to be an evolution of Graveyard Duel, another Goblet of Fire set released in 2005.

Late last month LEGO revealed five new ‘Potter’ sets themed around both Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire, and a festive Advent calendar. Those new sets will be available from 1 June.

Funko unveil 3 new ‘Harry Potter’ Pop! Vinyl figures ahead of Emerald City Comic Con

Funko has unveiled three new Harry Potter Pop! Vinyl figures ahead of 2019’s Emerald City Comic Con in March. The 3-pack features Ginny, Fred and George Weasley in their Irish Quidditch World Cup outfits and will be sold exclusively through Barnes and Noble retailers from March 14.

Funko reveal new ‘Harry Potter’ products at London Toy Fair

Funko have announced a number of new products ahead of this year’s London Toy Fair, including new additions to their Harry Potter lineup. The Toy Fair reveals include new 5 Star and Vynl figures, as well as a range of SuperCute Plush toys.

Although no new Pop! Vinyl figures were announced, we’ll soon be seeing a new Harry Potter Pop! Vinyl 3-pack at the Emerald City Comic Con in March.

Funko’s first ‘Harry Potter’ Pop! Vinyl for 2019 is a 10″ Hedwig

A 10″ super sized Hedwig Pop! is coming to Target stores.

Funko’s first Harry Potter Pop! Vinyl release for 2019 will be a 10″ version of Hedwig the owl. The figure is exclusive to Target retailers and will be available from 1 March. This release follows two Hedwig figures (a standard and flocked version of the owl) unveiled in November.

2019 is likely to be a big one for ‘Potter’ Funko fans. The next Pop! Vinyl release will be a Barnes & Noble Harry Potter 3-pack exclusive, unveiled at the Emerald City Comic Con convention in March.

There’s no word yet on pre-ordering the super sized version of Hedwig. We’ll keep you posted when more information is available.
